Terms of use for this site

These terms set out the rules for visiting, reading, and interacting with the website operated by Styxreonthep. They are written for clarity, align with the expectations of visitors in the European Economic Area, and work alongside our privacy, cookie, and return policies where those documents apply to your activity.

Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to all visitors and to anyone who uses features of the public website available at the domain styxreonthep.world and any subpages we publish, unless a separate written agreement with you says otherwise. By continuing to open pages, use navigation, or send us data through a form, you agree to the version of the terms you see on this page together with the policies linked from the footer, including the privacy and cookie statements where they describe how personal data and storage technologies are used.

The site is operated from Finland. The legal operator name, address, telephone, and business identifiers (such as Y-tunnus where published) are stated on the Contact page and in the privacy policy, and should match any contract, receipt, or advertising verification record you hold for us.

If you do not accept these terms, you should stop using the site, avoid submitting forms, and adjust your browser settings in line with the cookie policy. Some actions, such as reading static pages, may be possible on a limited basis without using optional technologies, as described in the cookies policy, but the legal relationship between you and us for use of the service is still covered by the rules below where applicable law allows.

If you are using the site on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that entity, and the word you in this document can refer to the organisation when the context makes that clear.

Use of the service and permitted purposes

We make the site available to provide information about our published materials on well-being, attention, and balance in everyday settings, to route questions through the contact form, and to help you read policy documents. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial research and to decide whether to contact us. You may also share the address of the site with others, provided you do not frame the service in a way that suggests a partnership we have not agreed to in writing.

You may print or save a reasonable number of static pages for your own private records. Systematic or bulk copying of the site, including through automated “scraping” tools, is not allowed without prior written permission. You may not attempt to test the security of the service, to bypass technical limits, to overload infrastructure, to distribute malware, or to intercept communications between the site and other users, except to the extent a mandatory legal right in your place of residence allows security research under controlled conditions, and in that case you must notify us in a reasonable manner before you rely on the exception, unless law forbids that notice.

Identity, forms, and communication

The public version of the site may not require a long-term user account. If you write to us through the form or by email, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for making sure the address you enter can receive a reply. You agree not to impersonate another person or to supply contact details in a way that is intended to mislead the recipient about the origin of a message. We will treat the contact data you provide in line with the privacy policy and only use it for the purposes described there.

Content, tone, and limits of what we publish

Articles, summaries, and supporting text on the site are presented for general information and to explain how we think about common situations related to focus and balance. The material is not tailored to your personal circumstances and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional when you need support in a regulated field. We do not use the site to offer medical, therapeutic, or legal diagnosis or treatment, and you should not interpret any phrase on the site as a promise of a specific personal outcome, because we cannot know your situation in detail.

Where the site offers practical suggestions, they are non-binding ideas you can adapt or set aside. If you are unsure whether a suggestion fits your life, you should use independent judgment and, where it makes sense, seek advice that is directly attuned to your context.

Intellectual property, trademarks, and third-party material

Unless a page clearly states that content is under an open licence, we or our licensors own the rights in the text, layout, graphics we commission, and the selection of how information is presented on the site. The domain name and the business name are used in connection with the services we describe. You may not remove proprietary notices, alter attributions, or use our branding as if it were your own, except for fair referential use that does not create confusion in trade.

We use some third-party building blocks, such as icon fonts, under their licence terms, and the respective owners keep their own rights. If you use those technologies on your own project, you must follow the upstream licence, not our terms alone. If you believe material on the site infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to locate the text or asset and a statement of the concern; we will review it in a reasonable time and, where we agree a change is required, we will work through a proportionate path.

Prohibited and harmful conduct

You will not use the service to break applicable criminal or civil law, to harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person, to post unlawful content, or to collect data about other visitors in a way that would breach privacy rules. You will not attempt to decompile or reverse engineer the client-side code in order to find flaws for unrelated purposes without coordination, except where a non-waivable right in your country allows such analysis for interoperability and the conditions of that right are met.

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that a pattern of use risks others’ safety, the security of the service, or the integrity of the network, we may take proportionate action where the law and our role allow, for example by blocking a technical identifier or a range of traffic for a time, in addition to any reporting required by law.

Availability, quality, and technical notice

We work to keep the service available, but the site may be down for short periods because of maintenance, updates, network conditions outside our control, or events we cannot reasonably avoid. We can change, add, or remove pages and features, and we can adjust the design for clarity or accessibility. A description on the site of how something will work in the future is an intention, not a guarantee that a particular path will be available in exactly that form and time.

Liability, warranties, and what we do not promise

To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies, we provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties that are not mandatory in consumer or commercial rules that cannot be set aside. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss that arises from your use of the site or your inability to use it, such as loss of expected savings, data that you have not yourself backed up, or business interruption, except where a mandatory rule in your jurisdiction requires a different result for consumers.

We do not cap liability in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or in respect of fraud, or in any other case where a limit would be void under the law. For other types of claim, the limits in this section apply in addition to the remedies that mandatory law provides.

Governing law, jurisdiction, and cross-border use

These terms are subject to the laws of Finland, without regard to private international law rules that would send a dispute to another system, except where a consumer who lives in another member state of the European Union or the EEA can rely on mandatory rights that give them a choice of court or a protection that cannot be waived, in which case those rights remain in effect.

Unless another court has mandatory jurisdiction, you and we both accept the courts of Finland as a forum for any dispute that cannot be resolved through direct contact, subject to the above reservation for consumer rights. If you are habitually resident in a country with an online consumer dispute system, you may have access to a platform the European Commission or your national body operates; using such a system is optional and does not block you from the ordinary courts where the law says otherwise.

When we change these terms

We may update the text of these terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or clearer wording. The header area of this page will show a live calendar date in your session’s browser, which helps you see when you are reading a fresh load of the file. A material change may also be signposted in other reasonable ways, such as a short period where the previous version remains linked for comparison if we use that approach. Continued use of the site after a change is posted may constitute acceptance, except where a mandatory right requires an active statement from you, in which case we will look for a separate consent path.
